Europe’s smaller shipping networks are changing.

  • Boluda has agreed to buy Samskip.

  • Contship has also agreed to acquire Tarros.

Both deals go far beyond ships.

They include terminals, rail and road transport.

That could change who controls cargo across Europe.

For BCOs, it may reshape service options and costs.

Here are 5️⃣ signals behind it:

1️⃣ Boluda Is Buying Samskip

  • The agreement was signed on 28 October.

  • Closing is expected in January 2027.

  • Regulatory approval is still required.

💡 Two regional networks could soon operate as one.
