Rates for Asia-US west coast contracts range from $1,400 to $1,500 per feu, up from $1,200 to $1,300 last year.
Current spot rates are above $3,000 per feu.
Rates remain close to break-even levels, despite market strength.
Large beneficial cargo owners (BCOs) are securing rates below $1,400 to $1,500, while smaller BCOs are around that range.
